PvP Season 15 Ending Soon

The warning for the end of PvP season 15 is here, which has historically signalled a 2-week warning for an upcoming patch. While it's not always the case, it's fair to assume that Patch 6.0.2 is likely to appear soon.

Unlike previous expansions, there will be more than just battlegrounds available to players in 6.0.2 -- skirmishes are reintroduced with the patch, allowing arena lovers to test out the new, squished specs!

After many grueling bouts in the Arenas and Battlegrounds, the time has nearly come to see who will reign supreme in this action-packed PvP season. Prepare to fight your last battles, and remember—to the victors go the spoils!
Arena and Rated Battleground Season 15 will be coming to an end in a couple of weeks. Once the season wraps, we'll begin an approximately two week process to determine end-of-season reward eligibility.
Qualified players should note the following in order to ensure you receive your just rewards:

  • Please refrain from transferring your characters to another realm or faction until after PvP Season 15 has ended.

  • PvP Season 15 titles and mounts will be awarded approximately two weeks after the season ends.

Conquest Points will be converted to Honor Points at the end of the season, and any Honor above 4,000 will be converted to in-game currency at a rate of 35 silver per point. A few other things to keep in mind once the season has ended:

  • The Honor cap will remain at 4,000.

  • Season 15 items with rating requirements will no longer be available for purchase.

  • Rated Battleground and Arena matches will not be available during the break between seasons.

Best of luck, gladiators!

Key to the Palace of Lei Shen Removed in 6.0

Key to the Palace of Lei Shen is unobtainable in 6.0. This currently provided players with a nice extra bit of weekly gold if they were speedy at completing the Isle of Thunder treasure run.

If you already have a key, you can use it after 6.0. However, players after 6.0 cannot acquire these keys.

In the Hall of the Thunder King will be changed to a Legacy Feat of Strength and not required for the  Stormbreaker meta. In addition, there will be a new way to get  Elder Charm of Good Fortune.

Blizzard

In WoW Patch 6.0.2, we will be retiring the Achievement In The Hall Of The Thunder King, as the treasure room will no longer be accessible. That achievement will become a Feat of Strength, and Elder Charm of Good Fortune will drop in place of the key to the room.

We've also added this information to our guide covering unobtainable content in 6.0!

Currently, the Treasure run is a good source for:

  •  Tattered Historical Parchments, used to purchase reputation insignias such as  Greater Kirin Tor Offensive Insignia.

  •  Elder Charm of Good Fortune

  •  Shan'ze Ritual Stone, used to summon elites.

  •  Spirit of Harmony

  • Gold

  • Incantations:  Incantation of Deng,  Incantation of Gura,  Incantation of Haqin,  Incantation of Vu

Last Chance for the Horde Chopper

Today, September 30th, is the last day for you to log on a character for your  Warlord's Deathwheel! Do keep in mind that only your Horde characters can use it and the Alliance version,  Champion's Treadblade, will be available at a later point.
