About

Masque (formerly ButtonFacade) is a dynamic button skinning add-on.

Installation

  1. Browse to your add-ons folder. This should be located at World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns.

  2. Remove any existing Masque and/or ButtonFacade folders.

  3. Download the package.

  4. Extract or copy the contents of the package to your add-ons folder, exactly as they appear in the package.

  5. Log into the game. At the character select screen, click the Addons button and make sure that both ButtonFacadeand Masque are enabled.

IMPORTANT: The package contains both a ButtonFacade add-on and the main Masque add-on. Both must be installed in order for Masque to be compatible with older add-ons.

Options

Access the options panel via the /msq or /masque chat commands, or the Interface Options Window.

FAQ

  • Why the name change?
Let's face it, "ButtonFacade" was long and ugly. "Masque"' is shorter, more descriptive and tons sexier.

  • Will my stuff break?
Absolutely. I suggest not throwing it against concrete walls and the like. As far as add-ons go, most should work; or at least not throw errors. Some "features" implemented by add-ons may not work as they used to until the authors get a chance to update them.

  • Add-on X is outdated and doesn't work with Masque anymore. Can you fix it?
No. If an author stopped development of an add-on, it's probably best that you find a replacement. I will not maintain special compatibility code for add-ons that aren't being maintained.

  • Masque is installed but isn't showing up in Masque's options. What's wrong?
Since ButtonFacade was renamed to Masque, I had to include a compatibility add-on to ensure that Masque was loaded correctly. This add-on is called "ButtonFacade" and replaces the previous version. If, for some reason, this add-on is not installed correctly or is not enabled, Masque will not be able to skin any add-on that hasn't been updated and that is alphabetically before it in the add-on list. To resolve this issue:

    Curse Client
Make sure any previous version of ButtonFacade has been removed. Install Masque. The Curse Client will install the "ButtonFacade" add-on correctly. Log into the game. At the character select screen, click the "Addons" button and make sure that both "Masque" and "ButtonFacade" are enabled.

    Manual Installation
Make sure any previous version of ButtonFacade has been removed. Extract the contents of the zip file to your add-ons directory exactly as they appear in the zip file. Log into the game. At the character select screen, click the "Addons" button and make sure that both "Masque" and "ButtonFacade" are enabled.

  • I created a skin for Masque. Now what?
Upload your skin to either WoW Interface or Curse and then post a link to the skin here.

Tidy Plates enhances World of Warcraft's floating health bars - commonly known as 'nameplates' - and provides a built-in API which can be used to create your own design. This download comes with several theme packages, but many alternatives are available.

Bug Reporting
I'd love for you to use the Curseforge Ticket System for submitting bug reports. I realize that this isn't convenient for some people, so I won't get upset if you post reports to the comment section. If you include an error log in your comment, I will probably delete that posting (after copying the information) because they're usually very long and can fill up an entire page.

Configuration
To change your theme:
Use the command, '/tidyplates' as a shortcut to the interface panel for Tidy Plates. On that panel, you'll be able to select from a list of installed themes. The theme you choose will define both the appearance and features.

To configure a theme:
Each theme is responsible for its own configuration, which means that some themes have a GUI panel and some do not. The bundled themes (Quatre, Neon, Graphite & Grey) come with a configuration tool called, Tidy Plates Hub. Shortcuts: '/hubdamage' or '/hubtank'

I'm not going to bug you by popping up an ad whenever you hit "Download". If you enjoy this addon and want to send a monetary "Thank You", please visit our Pledgie page by clicking on the button, above.

Intro
Just simple nameplates.

I created this mod after finding out about the FPS bug.

I had friends with 200fps without nameplates that dropped to 40fps with nameplates enabled.
This mod fixes this issue because it hides all NamePlates before applying a new SetPoint().

If you are experiencing high FPS loss with nameplates enabled try them and get amazed.

This small addon animates the unit frames of (nearly) any UI.

When the UI goes to draw a static portrait, this addon instead draws an animated model to the dimensions of the intended portrait.

Adapt is meant to be configuration-free (especially if you use the default unit frames), but there are some options you can change in the Interface Options Panel.

__ New in 2.0.9 __

  • toc update for 5.4 patch

__ FAQ __

Q: Will it work with my custom unit frames?
A: If your existing unit frames are static portraits and not models already, yes it should. The universal approach this addon takes will attempt to convert any 2d portrait texture into a 3d model (if it's bigger than 30 pixels). However, if Adapt already came with the unit frame addon or UI compilation you use, you may need to get an updated version of that addon/compilation if it made any tweaks to portraits/Adapt.

Q: It's not working or there's a bug.
A: I'd love to hear about it in the comments. Please mention what Unit Frame addon or UI compilation you use.

Q: I use circular unit frames (like default), but when I look closely the model cut off as a square! Can the model be fit into a true circle?
A: Sadly, it can't. Addons have no genuine way to mask models. For circular unit frames the model is shrunk to fit within the circle. There's not a lot of wiggle room to create a universal overlay to trim the corners but it is something being investigated.

Q: What's an "anonymous portrait"?
A: When this addon was first written in 2006 over seven years ago, practically everyone named all their textures(portraits). Nowadays it's more common for textures to go unnamed as a courtesy to the UI ecosystem. For anonymous portraits you can only turn them all on or off, unlike named portraits which you can selectively disable.

Q: I want to disable my default focus frame from animating, but I don't see it in the options list.
A: The list in options is only of portraits it's encountered in that session (and those already disabled). Adapt has no awareness of what frames it will be asked to draw until it encounters them. So in this case you can /focus yourself and then when you go back into options the focus frame should be listed so you can disable it.

This addon was inspired by SnowfallUnit from Dayn, but it should stay closer to the original Blizzard UI style.

  • modified Blizzard unitframe graphics with fat bars for player-, target- and focusframe

  • uses the normal blizzard configuration
» interface » game » status text : player, target and display percentages
» interface » game » unitframes : larger focus frame

  • no gui, configuration in file config.lua (class specific configuration possible)

  • you can use the standard Blizzard status text or whoaUF custom status text with
    - optional health- and manapoints with 1000 separators
    - optional simple health (rounded health- and manapoints)
    - you can see the percentage and the actual health-/manapoints together, or just the actual health-/manapoints
    - optional percentage @manabars

  • threatindicator moved from the target- to the playerframe

  • no charactername visible at the playerframe

  • healthbar classcolored for players and green-yellow-red-grey for npc's

  • you can change the size of buffs/debuffs (target)

  • scalability (version 5.2.1)

  • ooc transparency (version 5.2.1) Now off by default!

  • showMaxHealth  (version 5.2.2)

NEW config options

  • petFrameOnTop

  • hitIndicators

  • showToTName

HINTS:

  1. You want NO status text at all:
    - disable status text in Blizzard config: » interface » game » status text : player, target

  2. You want the standard Blizzard status text:
    - disable customStatusText in config.lua: customStatusText = false
    - enable status text in Blizzard config: » interface » game » status text : player, target, display percentages

  3. You want the whoaUF custom status text
    - enable customStatusText in config.lua: customStatusText = true
    - enable status text in Blizzard config: » interface » game » status text : player, target, display percentages

  4. You want percentages@manabars
    - same as point 3
    - enable autoManaPercent in config.lua: autoManaPercent = true

(:

P.S. Thanks to Dayn, Evl, Thek, Zork and so on for their great addons.

Many thanks to Zork and Wildbreath for their ideas, you guys are awesome.

Please remove any versions of this addon before installing 3.0.0 and above.

Addon seems to be finished, all the bugs that you guys reported are fixed and everything is working just fine. Now you can just install latest version and enjoy bugless gameplay.

Hi everyone.

As you can see on attached images, this addon will turn all your default UI black. Nothing else. Addon is extremly lightweight.
Even though addon is called 'UI', in fact it is just a usual addon you can install and enable as any other addon. No need to copy WTF folder or whatever. Just plug&play.

The only thing that can confuse you is minimap icons. Since they are hidden, I've reworked them. You can right-click on minimap to open calendar and middle-click toopen 'find'.

BlkUI

Post by Noona on Wed 02 Oct 2013, 3:15 am

BlkUI  Version: 2.3B

(63 MB)
Download

RESOLUTION: 1920X1080

A sleek looking, minimalist, all purpose Rogue UI.

Everything is set to track buffs/debuffs/procs/CD times in PvE and should require next to no setup.

Although this is set up to be Rogue specific, you can simply use any character class.

For PvP target defensive cooldowns are tracked via Weakauras, and personal CC abilities via icons above nameplates.

Let me know if you have any questions.

This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1066x176.

(Ctrl click Skada button to reset data)

__________________________________________________________________________________________
Directions:

The person who downloads this has to unpack everything using an application which can unzip folders (Winzip, etc.), and then put all the folders in his / her World of Warcraft folder.

Copy your current WTF/Interface folders to your desktop to back them up before installing.

You then place the downloaded WTF/Interface folders into your Wow directory in their place.

When you download this, edit the folders to rename them from the generic "Account Name", "Server", "Character" to your actual accountname - the same goes for the server- and characternames. Do this first, before you even load up the game. Otherwise, the settings for everything will not take, and you may have to do it over to get everything working properly.

Upon entering game, make sure all addons are enabled! Make sure "Load out of date Addons" is checked!!!

Once loaded with all addons enabled, you will get a pop-up asking if you want to install BlkUI. Choose "Yes", and you should be pretty much good to go.

If any profiles for specific addons have issue loading, you may choose the Blk_UI profile for said addon.

You can then copy your bindings-cache.wtf and macros-cache.txt in from your backed up desktop folders, and keep your previous macros/keybindings.

Don't update Sharedmedia or Sharedmedia: Additional Fonts, as they it will overwrite the in-game font settings.

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Addons Included:

Aurora, Bagnon, Bartender, Gnosis, Raven, Fonter, VuhDo, HideBossFrame, HideRaidFrame, Stuf Unit Frames, Reflux, SharedMedia, WeakAuras, Phanxchat, SexyMap, Skada, KgPanels, Tidyplates, Tiptac, DBM, HideBlizzardRaidFrame, Rogue Spam Reborn.

Woody UI 5.4 Version: 5.4

(72 MB)
Download

Woody UI is a UI replacement aimed at healers.
IT uses a variety of addons to track buffs, debuffs, timers etc.
It's basically default UI with some custom textures and a few others put together to make a nice clean healer oriented UI.

Woody Livestream! - Will be streaming ALL SoO Progression!

Addons:main addons used are Grid, Skada, Prat, Moveanything, SexyMap, BigWigs

Instructions
MAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR WTF AND INTERFACE FOLDERS!!. Then delete them both. Download and unzip the pack to your World of Warcraft folder.

Rename YOURACCOUNT to your ACCOUNT NAME, Rename Realm to your Realm, Rename CharacterName to your Character you're Playing etc etc.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, this is my first attempt at making a UI pack so bare with me

MiirGui Texture Pack - Grey

Post by Noona on Mon 07 Oct 2013, 11:31 pm

MiirGui Texture Pack - Grey
Download
◘ what it does

MiirGui texture Pack replaces the default World of Warcraft skin of your user interface with a clean smooth grey/black theme. It covers nearly every frame in the game. Best-looking with a ui scale that allows pixel perfect frames, you might want to use this macro:
/run SetCVar("uiScale", 768/string.match(({GetScreenResolutions()})[GetCurrentResolution()], "%d+x(%d+)"))
The font used in the screenshots is called Broadband.

◘ how to install

Copy&Paste everything into your Interface Folder.

There will be 2 'real' Addon's provided, one for cosmetic changes, and one for frame icons. I highly recommend using the first one, otherwise many frames will look pretty messed up.

◘ support

If you find any bugs, missmatching graphics or just wrong files, please use the comment section of this page.
I'd like to thank every single addon author and interface creator out there and the whole wow community for the inspiration
and support.

Created by Miiru - Lordaeron EU. Special thanks to Haleth.
